Day 2: Get Comfy

Today's mission:

Capture your easy chair (or the equivalent) in an image that shows the true comfort of your soul. Try to translate with your camera this feeling of being truly at home with yourself.

This caused a bit of panic: Do I have a comfy spot? Where is it? My furniture isn't really photo worthy! AHHHH! Then I took a breath. My first thought was James - he makes me comfy. I thought of my stitching chair, but I tried it and it just didn't work. Then I went to the bedroom. When I want some quality alone time, it is my go-to place. I'll head up with a tea and a snack, a book, a blanket, and a cat or three. Heaven.

Day 2: Get Comfy

Now for the self-critique. I dug out the tripod for this shot, and avoided using the flash. The natural outdoor light from the windows was very very gray, so that wasn't going to work. I think the reading light throws a nice warm glow. I like the blur of the blanket - makes it look warmer. I'm not sure what I need to do to make it a crisper picture. Lessons to be learned here, which would be the point of the workshop.
