Another quintessential representation of fall is the pumpkin; large, round, vibrant and jovial. I'm not sure what it is about these unique specimens (color, shape, size, symbolic meaning) that makes them so enchanting but they are just that.
It's time today, to offer a seasonal ode to the great pumpkin!
I busted out my 50mm lens today, even though it requires manual focus on my body (come on, Nikon!). 2 girls, one pumpkin, and 85 shots later, I've got a picture.
This pose has been seen a million times in my workshop, but it's the first time I've got it right. I processed this with "Matt's Nostalgic Effect (2)" preset in Lightroom 3, and I love the effect. I've uploaded the full colour one to Flickr, and would love to know which you prefer... http://tinyurl.com/2dxfam7
