Day 4: Morning Light

I was a bit unsure of how the first work day of the workshop was going to go, and it turns out I was good to be concerned. This morning's email said:

find something, anything at all, that whispers the kind of quiet reassurance you need to ease yourself into your day today.
Considering I was already at work when I read the email, it wasn't a great start. I had all day at work to think about what I was going to try, but it turns out I didn't need it.

I forwarded the email to my helpful husband, and when we got home he made some comment about tea and I knew that was what I need to capture. Definitely not an original idea, judging from the workshop gallery, but I quite like how this one turned out.

Day 4: Morning Light

As a side note, I shot this completely on Manual - twiddling the dials as I went. It wasn't nearly as challenging as I thought, but I have a LOT to learn.
