Life after "Picture Fall"

In the gallery for my Picture Fall class, a bunch of the participants posted mosaics of the pictures they took for the class. I thought this was a great idea, and with the help of bighugelabs.com, here is mine:

Picture Fall 2010

I'm really looking forward to Picture the Holidays, starting in December. In the mean time, I have signed up for a course called Your Life: Captured Through the Lens. It is a weekly assignment class, but the first week's assignment had three parts so you may end up with daily posts after all!

This first lesson was about focusing, and I learned something right off the bat - what that AE-L/AF-L button on the back of my camera does. Pretty exciting for the first day! With no direction on a subject, I've taken some inspiration from the ladies in the Picture Fall class and I am going to try to replicate some of the fantastic shots I saw in the gallery.

And without further ado, I present "Smarties (Canadian Style)".

Smarties (the Canadian kind)

Thanks for the kick in the butt, Trish. I was kinda missing this daily thing too. :)
